** Update: Well...it’s 2018, and here I am again, This is like a never ending story. And every time it feels just a little bit harder than the time before. So here we go...again.

Hard to believe I've been a member on here since 2007. And unfortunately, I keep "falling off the wagon". Everytime, I come back, I'm a little bit heavier than I was the previous time. I know...I know. That's NOT how it's supposed to work! Aaaaarrrrrrgh! Okay. Enough whining. THIS TIME has to work. And I know there is no magic to make things happen - it's all up to me. The multiple attempts to quit smoking really put a crimp in my weight loss....and turning 50 (and the associated changes :/) didn't help either. But...the good news is I've finally succeeded and have been smoke free for almost two years now!!! Wooohoooo!!! Now it's a new day. And this time, with God's help, I WILL succeed with my weight loss, too!

UPDATE: I'm baaaaack! Still smoke free and still trying to lose the pounds. Wish me luck!

Drinking more water, cutting down on sweets and junk, trying to eat healthier...and dreaming about all the things I'd love to do...someday!
