Heyy!! My name is Lora and I have gotta kick myself into high gear man!! I have been overweight my whole life and until recently decided to do something other then complain about it.
In February 2006 I went in for a routine checkup... I was measured and then called up to the dreaded scale. "Don't I get to take my shoes off at least?" I looked at the scale and didn't believe what I saw, so I asked the nurse. "What do I weigh?" She looked at me and said 198lbs. I couldn't believe it. How was I almost 200lbs?
Unfortunately... that wasn't the turning point in my life. One night I was hanging out with my boyfriend and roommate and we decided that it would be fun to go to adult shop. We went in browsed the various....toys....and me and my friend got to looking at the outfits. I found one that my boyfriend and I were fond of and brought it to the front register. I gave my outfit to the old man and he asks "Are you sure this is going to fit you, it says up to 180 lbs?" I sat there in horror while my boyfriend and roommate stood next to me. I left it there and ran out of the store as fast as I possibly could. Neither my boyfriend or roommate has mentioned it since.
Since then I have lost about 35lbs. I am eating better and working out has become a part of my life. I am just now about to get to the 150's. I CAN'T WAIT to get to 145lbs!! I'm going to do it this time!!

Goals:

Thanksgiving: want to weigh 160
Christmas: want to weigh 155
February: 150 (cousin's baby due!!)
June: 145 (East Coast Vay-Cay)

Rewards:

155lbs: body wrap
150lbs: belly button pierced
145lbs: Tattoo :)

As of January I have been training to do the Avon Breast cancer 2 day walk in SF. I am SUPER excited and can't wait for it to get here!! In order to walk I have to raise $1,800. This money will all be donated to to research of finding a cure for breast cancer. If you have the time, stop by my page and take a look around!! =) Thanks!
