I am a sparkling, strong and focused woman around 50.
I always achieve what I aim for, now I find that the time has come to aim for something for myself.

I know that I can control my journey towards my ultimate goal, reachieving a BMI at 23. I had that wonderful weight and body for almost a year, then the weight drifted back up again.
I know, that it is all about what I eat and drink each day - and how much exersize I do.
I will say NO, when that is what I mean.
I will create time for exersize during the week.
I am becoming successful in identifying ways of killing the feeling of desparation and frustration in my stomack - with something that stays OUTSIDE of my stomack!
In 2005 I lost 30 kg (66 lbs). It was a year where everything was in flow and I felt great, just great. And the 66 lbs were gone almost by themselves.
In 2009 it appeared that I had found at least 15 of the lost kilos. That was not part of the plan, it just - kind of - happened.....
stress and emotional eating and drinking - I did not manage to keep it outside my mouth.
In 2011 I decided to wipe the slate clean, and start all over. New goals (no - same actually, 75kg) but new job and new continent.

I have a nice track record of successes - as long as it comes to goals or results I aim for on behalf of my company, my kids or my friends.

My photos are not of my outside, most are showing the inside of me.
I have not set my page to private, as I - THIS TIME - would like to get friends, and I myself have a tendency not to reach out to people behind the private pages, as I cannot see what their journey is about, but on the other hand I also want privacy from the internet.
This time I have learned, that even if I understand what I eat and drink, as long as there are emotional patterns below, this journey can only be successful by the steady, ongoing and always loving support from the Spark friends. And this is why I am going to succeed this time.
Thank you to all of you - because you make a difference in my life.
I share more personal details and pictures with the ones I get to know as close Spark friends.

A 2012 update. Allll right - here we go once again. Cleaned up yet another a part of my life that I suddenly understood was closely connected to my emotional unbalance. Let us see if that can help to keeping finally achieve my goal.

Below I have collected some of the quotes I have found in this community.
I will come back here each time I begin to doubt and read those wise words others have posted.

I am your constant companion.

I will push you up to success or down to disappointment.
I am at your command.
Half the things you do might just as well be turned over to me, for I can do them quickly, correctly, and profitably.
I am easily managed; just be firm with me.
Those who are great, I have made great.
Those who are failures, I have made failures.

You can run me for profit, or you can run me for ruin.
Show me how you want it done.

Reward me.
And I will then do it automatically.

Thin people gain weight too, but when they gain weight, they gain 5 pounds, start feeling their pants get tight, and then start working to get that 5 pounds off.
Fat people say, "5 pounds? Might as well give up!"
No more all or nothing!
Indulge, then get back into your routine.

"Our running shoes are really erasers.
Every step erases a memory of a past failure.
Every mile brings us closer to a clean slate.
Each footstrike rubs away a word, a look, or an event, which led us to believe that success is beyond our grasp."
~ John "The Penguin" Bingham

I see unlimited growth in my personal capacity, mental power, and intellectual brilliancy.
I see constant improvement in all elements of my personality and my body.
I see daily growth in my wisdom, understanding, insight, and realization.
I see myself in peace, harmony, love, and joy, and I see my characther expanding to be stronger and more beautiful.

If I could catch a rainbow
I would do it just for you.
And share with you it's beauty
On the days you're feeling blue.
If I could build a mountain
You could call your very own.
A place to find serenity
A place to be alone.
If I could take your troubles
I would toss them in the sea.

are impossible for me,

You Can Be Whatever You Want To Be!
by: Donna Levine

There is inside you
All of the potential
To be whatever you want to be;
All of the energy
To do whatever you want to do.
Imagine yourself as you would like to be,
Doing what you want to do,
And each day, take one step
Towards your dream.
And though at times it may seem too
difficult to continue,
Hold on to your dream.
One morning you will awake to find
That you are the person you dreamed of,
Doing what you wanted to do,
Simply because you had the courage
To believe in your potential
And to hold on to your dream.

~ Don't be embarrassed to walk! There is no shame in a walk/run program. If I get tired or tight I walk a few minutes and then start to run again. Check out the Jeff Galloway method for running.
~Remember- you are WAY faster than everyone your age who is at home sitting on their you-know -what!
“Don't wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions. So what. Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful.” ~Mark Victor Hansen
Any act often repeated soon forms a habit; and habit allowed, steady gains in strength, At first it may be but as a spider's web, easily broken through, but if not resisted it soon binds us with chains of steel.
Tryon Edwards
There are four things that you cannot recover in life:
The Stone.............after it's thrown
The Word.............after it's said
The Occasion....after it's missed, and
The Time...........after it's gone
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about dancing in the rain
When you are ready to cross the river, the bridge will be there...
Most barriers to your success are man-made. And most often, you're the man who made them
I figured that if I said it enough, I would convince the world that I really was the greatest.
I know where I'm going and I know the truth, and I don't have to be what you want me to be. I'm free to be what I want.

It's the repetition of affirmations that leads to belief. And once that belief becomes a deep conviction, things begin to happen.
It's lack of faith that makes people afraid of meeting challenges, and I believed in myself'

"Whether you think you can or whether you think you can't, you're right."
Henry Ford From ONEBIGDUDE
I am, I can, I will, and if not today .... when?
Never confuse a single defeat with a final defeat.
Stand for something or fall for anything.
Who I am really keeps surprising me.
From a tiny spark may burst a mighty flame.
One step back, two steps forward.
Maybe it’s my fault.
Maybe I led you to believe it was easy when it wasn’t.
Maybe made you think my highlights started at the free throw line, and not in the gym. Maybe I made you think that every shot I took was a game winner.
That my game was built on flash, and not fire.
Maybe it’s my fault that that you didn’t see that failure gave me strength;
That my pain gave my motivation.
Maybe I led you to believe that basketball was a God given gift, and not something I worked for… every single day of my life.
Maybe I destroyed the game.
Or maybe… you’re just making excuses.
— Michael Jordan - from Yoovies blog
"If you can’t fly, run. If you can’t run, walk. If you can’t walk, crawl. But by all means, keep moving." ~Martin Luther King, Jr
"My grandmother starting walking five miles a day when she was sixty... She's ninety-seven now and we don't know where the hell she is."
Ellen DeGeneres
Life isn't about the breaths you take,
it's about the moments that take your breath away!!
Don't wait to be thin to act thin. Life is happening now, not 10 pounds from now.
Aim for better every day, never perfect right away.
I remember giving up my choices. That's actually what living an unhealthy life is about.
If you got a traffic ticket would you break every traffic law the rest of the day? Then why toss the whole day over a slice of pizza?
One slice of pizza is always going to have less calories than two.
Never treat your body like a garbage disposal for leftovers.
If you think 'I may as well', then change it to 'I may as well not'.
Lose, maintain, just don't gain.
Tea and sympathy, not cake and apathy.
Baby steps. Leaping in wears you out. Then you quit.
You don't have to be perfect you just have to stick with it.
Dream big, step small, and keep going.
Look at weight regain like a bad haircut, it's temporary and will fix itself with proper care and maintenance.
That which I cannot do now is my aspiration, not my defeat.
Don't put your thoughts toward what might have been, put your energy into what is possible.
Having a bad day is like getting a flat tire. You fix it and get back on the road; you don't have a tantrum & go around popping holes in the other 3 tires!
When you make a wrong turn on the road, your GPS does not go berserk, berate you and drive you off a cliff. It calmly tells you to get back on track.
Plateaus only SEEM to last forever, but if you kick and stomp and go at them, they crash to the ground and you can dance on their dirt!
Find your inner CAUSE that requires a higher fitness level. THAT will be your rock.
The point is that there is always something you can do if you think out of the box. In fact, throw the box away. Don't binge on something just to keep yourself from binging on it later or to get it out of the house. That's silly. I lost my weight choice by choice.
Remember to fill your life, not your stomach.
Get healthy and fit like it's your career.
Forget what negative/ energy drainers say and go the other way.
Eat right, not light.
Push yourself gently in the right direction, but don't push so hard that you push yourself down.
Change your life and you change your weight, not the other way around.
To get fat unglued, eat healthier food.

My Goals:
I want to feel great, sparkling, attractive and stunning when I am on a podium, talking to an audience. I want my clothes to accentuate my body in a flattering way, and feel confident in the morning those days when choosing clothes.
I will achieve this goal by becoming aware of WHY and WHAT I am putting into the mouth, and how it is contributing to the overall balance of calories.
Wine is one of the things that does not belong in my food plans, but ends up in my calorie tracker anyway.
Why is a word that is so easy to spell - so difficult to say?
I will find ways to create calmness inside my body and mind with things that stay outside my stomack.

I will identify ways of putting exersize into what I already do.
I will go from 90 kg (198lbs) to 72 kg (158 lbs). I will reach my goal by July 2012.
Then I will allow my weight to swing between 72 and 75 kg and thereby keep a BMI between 22 and 23.
I am 6 feet tall and will then fit in a size 10

My Program:
Eat around 1200 calories a day - and top op with exersizing

1. Eat when hungry
2. Eat and drink what is good for me - in moderation
3. Hit 8 glasses of water a day - EVERY day
4. Deliberately put less on my plate than I am hungry for
5. Use a smaller plate - all days
6. Use chopsticks for all the dishes that can be attacked by those weapons
7. Eat consciously, enjoy every mouthful
8. Stop before being full, and leave something on the plate - each day
9. Wait at least 20 minutes before continuing - NOBODY is gonna steal the fridge during that short time!
10. Remember fiber and vitamins all days
11. Bike the 10 miles to work if possible, due to weather
12. Swim 2 km if using car for work or walk for an hour after work
13. If 11 & 12 fails, use the fittness center close by
14. Meditate and conciously focus on keeping stress down
15. Appreciate the compliments - I need them to keep going. So give the people a good experience

Personal Information:
I am:
A loving Mother
A popular Boss
A Wife
A Director
An Expert in my area
A skilled Speaker
An experienced Traveller
Highly Respected
Internationally Acknowledged
Well respected
And apparently struggeling heavily with meeting the most simple goals I set up for myself.
Give me anything to aim for and do for others - and I will succeed.........
But when it comes to goals set up just for me ..... well..... there is room for improvement

Other Information:
When I reach the goals I have set for myself I am gonna give myself an award

80 kg: Wearing the silk dress I bought in China

75 kg: Wolford dress, that will accentuate my body instead of me hiding it in all sorts of other stuff

72 kg: A full day spa and massage together with my daughter
