3/20/11 I'm no longer a runner in progress... I am a runner. Ran my first 5k in 31:52

1/31/11 I'm a runner in progress. I'm committing to running a 5k on 3/20/11. Woah can't believe I'm going to do this!

1/7/11 Starting over to reach my goal. I'm now 31lbs away from my goal and am disappointed to be starting over. I just keep reminding myself I've managed to keep 38lbs off and I can start this back up. I've done it before and I can do it again!!

I'm 12.4lbs away from my goal. I've been struggling with the past couple of months. I need to get back on track to reach my goal weight. I plan on meeting my goal with the Winter Biggest Loser RED team!!

I'm a 27 year old married mother of 2 in Michigan. My oldest is 7 years old. My youngest is 14 months now and I'm still carrying around the pregnancy weight.

I am an emotional eater. When I'm happy I want to celebrate with going out to eat. When I'm sad I want to run through a drive through and eat away the pain.

I really need to learn how to eat healthy to be a good role model for my children. I really want to be able to play with my kids without getting tired out. Plus, I want to feel sexy again!

First goal is to lose 19 pounds which is 10% of my starting weight. - MET!!!

My ultimate goal is to lose 64 pounds and maintain the weight loss.

    Hi there! I came across your page through the BL Spring Challenge - Red team. It seems like we might have a bit in common. I am also here to get more energy to keep up with the kiddos. I have a 5 year old and a 6 month old and they both have SO much energy!! Like you, I am also an emotional eater. I use food for everything from celebrations, to drowning my sadness. I look forward to getting to know you better through the challenge!!

    DON'T be embarrassed to work out at your work gym!! When you are a bit older you won't be embarrassed anymore - so why wait til then to get into shape. You will only feel bad for about three weeks - by then you will feel better using the equipment and you will have built up enough stamina to feel you are making some progress. If you feel embarrassed just laugh and say what is embarrassing you - it's a trick public speakers use. example - why do workout clothes have to make it so obvious we NEED to work out? Ha ha ha!! Others will laugh with you. If you are worried someone will make rude comments in front of you or behind your back, just laugh and say "yeah, I'm working on that! haa haaa" . Then in a few more weeks you get to laugh to yourself at how they aren't making progress and you are feeling SO MUCH better!!! I have been doing this for five months and I went to a yoga class tonight for the first time in four years and I was SO happy that I could do all the moves/poses without a problem - and that is due to my doing water aerobics, the most recent SP bootcamp, and walking!! You can do this and I promise it IS worth it!! You will be so far ahead of the game if you start now rather than when you are in your 40's and don't care what people think!! DO THIS FOR YOU!!!!!!
