Okay so some of you out here know that I have been on SP for a bit of time now. I have lost 10 pounds. . . and I have gained it all back.

Over the past 6 months I have taken a new job, and moved to a new city. All very exciting stuff. It is the beginning of making me the happiest me I can be!

Last summer I started running . . . again. I was finally able to break through a lot of the mental barriers that I personally face in running. It was all leading up to the Falmouth Road Race which I did complete, just not in the time I was hoping for.

I came home and stepped on the scale expecting this HUGE weight loss. I had actually gained 2 pounds. The spiral began of why am I doing this? why am I working so hard for nothing?

I gave up.

I was focusing on the wrong things. I missed the point!

I need to remember:

The feeling when I finally ran 3 miles without stopping to walk
Not feeling tired all the time
Realizing it is all about choice
Understanding I have a heck of a lot more in me than I knew
Its about staying power, and I have that in me
It is 90% mental

In 2011 I have been trying lots of new things, and having one adventure after the other.

I am ready to recommit to this adventure of becoming the happiest me I can be! It can't be about the scale, because the number on the scale does not directly relate to how happy I am.

Over the past 10 years I have started and restarted this journey many times. I will start to lose weight then get excited that I did I will slip back into my old habits.

Try something new at least once a month.

January - No Drinking!
(Get to Level 9 in Jan)

My Program:
I'm okay with the cliche of starting over again in 2013.

No drinking for 30 days between NYE and Superbowl

Eat out only 2 - 4 meals a week

Trying yoga again. . .
