My Journey


I'm 47 and been overweight most of my adult life. Like most of you, I have tried everything under the sun including gastric banding. That failed due to severe gastric reflux when I was sleeping. My life fell apart Thanksgiving 2014 as I found out my mom had a rare and untreatable cancer. It has been a long 6 month journey. The cancer took my mom in may 2015. I have started my weight loss journey and won't give up this time.

 continuing Atkins diet and doing lots of walking both around neighborhood and on the treadmill.

I am married with 1 daughter. She is my shining joy. She is now in med school. Long road but she made it.
