Just finished my first walking 5K for breast cancer. Although it was just walking this was a huge accomplishment for me!!!

I am twenty five years old. I'm a nurse at a school. I'm married and have a six year old son and four year old son. I made this page awhile ago but just now started using SparkPeople seriously and effectively. I'm just beginning to start my weight loss journey after putting it off for a long period of time. I feel very motivated at this time and aware of my choices and actions. I am partnered with my sister who has about the same weight to lose. She is my motivation and we exercise and follow our diets together.

My Goals:
I want to keep up with my two boys. I want to feel healthy and good every day. I want to grow old with my husband. Personal goals would be to eat a healthy breakfast every morning, drink eight glasses of water each day and break my addiction to fast food and sweets!

My Program:
I'm going to use SparkPeople for recipes, inspiration and their vast amount of tools. I really don't have a set exercise routine yet. I will exercise at least three times a week if not at least ten minutes every day. I don't really have weights, a gym membership or money to buy those so my strength training is on hold.

Personal Information:
I struggle with my image and confidence. I get annoyed by people who assume that since I'm over weight I must have been like this my whole life. I was actually in between 140 and 170 when I got pregnant with my first son and my weight ballooned from there. And, I haven't been able to bring it down since.
