My name is Skye and I am 54years old with 10 children. I live in Surprise Arizona for now and looking forward to becoming healthy and more active.

My goal is to walk down into the Grand Canyon to the Havasupai reservation and continue to Havasu Falls. Of course, the walk down isn't REALLY the problem, it is the getting back up to the top that will be a challenge.

I adore animals and I own three Aussies and two Border Collies, a Blue Crown Parrot and a Quarter Horse filly named Shiloh. I just added a Paint colt named Stetson.

I have been fat most of my adult life and did take it all off about ten years ago, vowing that the weight wold never return. AHHHHH but FOUND me once again. So here I sit taking off 69 of the 92 pounds I had lost. (ya know those little pounds can really play hide and go seek VERY well!)

My Goals:
My goal is to become more healthy and active with slimming down and toning up.

1. Become educated about weight loss

2. Increase self-esteem

3. Don't forget about me!

4. Lose weight

5. Eat good choice foods (a cheat once a week is good for the diet) every day

6. Quit saying "I can't" and change to "I will"

7. Make good friends

8. Love myself and all those around me

9. Take a new picture every month to document my successes

10. Take it one day at a time

My Program:
Great food choices is my mainstay.

Exercise with both cardio and weights

Push myself to do "just one more"

Eat enough to burn more fat.

Hello, do you know me?
If you don't, you should.
I'm a pound of fat,
And I'm the HAPPIEST
pound of fat that you would ever want to meet.
Want to know why?
It's because no one ever wants to lose me;
I'm ONLY ONE POUND, just a pound !
Everyone wants to lose three pounds,
five pounds, or fifteen pound, but never only one.
So I just stick around and happily keep you fat.
Then I add to myself, ever so slyly,
so that you never seem to notice it.
That is, until I've grown to ten, twenty, thirty or
even more pounds in weight.
Yes, it's fun being ONLY ONE POUND OF FAT
left to do as I please.
So when you weigh in, keep right on saying,
"Oh, I only lost one pound."
(As if that were such a terrible thing.)
For you see, if you do this,
you'll encourage others to keep me around
because they'll think I'm not worth losing.
And I love being around you-
arms, legs, belly and hips!
