Restarting 2019 - finding my motivation

I am taking part in the 2019 Fall 5% Challenge, the goal is to lose 5% of my current weight - so about 12 lbs in 8 weeks.

This is my plan


FOOD:
My diet plan is to eat more fresh fruits and veggies, and count my calories. Everything in moderation.

EXERCISE:
My workplace has a free gym. My plan is to get to work early every day to use the gym, cycling or elliptical for at least 30 minutes and some other cardiovascular or core intervals that my friend who's a Beach Body coach gave me. I'm also continuing to work at being "inefficient" at work so I don't sit at my desk all day... more trips to the photocopier, take the long route to meetings, etc.

MOTIVATION:
What can you tell yourself every morning that will give you a sense of purpose for your day?
-Another day, another chance to be awesome and get healthy.

What can you tell yourself when you are thinking of skipping a walk or a workout?
-Just move! You won't regret it! Your DD needs a healthy mommy!

Is there something you can tell yourself when you are reaching for that second helping or that cookie?
-Do I really need that? Will it really help anything?
