I've survived breast cancer and am celebrating 25 years of marriage...the kids are grown (they are 36 and 33) and it's time to get SERIOUS about eating healthy and exercising regularly. I'm excited about what my future holds!

Fitness Minutes: 710

My Goals:
I'm looking forward to losing weight. I've been on so many medications for various conditions and I seem to have lost touch with my "healthy" self. I always enjoyed exercise, but as the years progressed, I allowed stress and work to consume me. Cancer was a real eye-opener for me. Life is precious and I want to enjoy every moment of every day to the fullest. Losing weight and eating well will allow me to feel better and move more freely. I'm looking forward to my future.

My Program:
I am so blessed...we have a 30' x 52" above ground swimming pool. We belong to the YMCA, so I can work out there and I also have a fitness ball, resistance bands, medicine ball, dumbbells, jump rope, etc. Since I already enjoy healthy foods, I will focus on portion control and eating more fruits and veggies. I will try to avoid sweets, and this will be a challenge for me.

Personal Information:
I'm 53 years old, and live with my husband of 25 years.
We moved to a tiny cabin in the woods in rural Southern Ohio 3 years ago after living in the city all our lives. Life here is peaceful and calm. I no longer work due to my health, but getting away from the stress of city life has been good medicine. I am a mother of 2 grown daughters and grandmother of 4.

Other Information:
I enjoy studying and collecting antiques and vintage items. We often list items on ebay or etsy so that we can make room for a new acquisition. I enjoy free lance writing and amatuer photography.

You hve to look at my pictures again. I just updated pictures of my little man. He is now 8 months old.

Succeeding at weight loss is hard for me. Im trying my hardest to not focus on what I cant have but focus on what I can have. I have a pizza weakness bu I found a healthy and good replacement I took a wheat torilla found the lowest cal pizza sauce and part sim mozerella and put it together baked in the oven at 350 for 10 minutes and YUMMY.. Im think you could do the same with the torilla except just dry bake them till crispy and then cut into the famous dorito wedges and dip in some hummus or other yummy veggie dip.

Congrats on your weightloss, and dont account the 4 lbs for water weight. If it was meant to come of then it will and every 1 lbs a difference between your starting weight and your goal weight.
