Hi Diane, So glad that you are back to sparks, I'm so sorry that you and your hubby have been sick. It is always hard when we both go down, and we have a difficult time taking care of each other. Sure hope your both on the mend and will battle those things. Hope that you can keep your immune system going strong with winter coming. It was wonderful to hear from you and such a nice surprise. So sorry about all those death in your family. It does hit us hard especially when it is unexpected and even when we are expecting it doesn't make it any easier. Please take care of yourselves. We really missed not seeing your sweet messages. Hugs from Ca.

I goofed up -- my eyeglasses are SO BAD (I guess) that I tried to thank a young lady for her comment, so I hit 'comment' and wrote my reply. Apparently I didn't see the WHOLE statement that said 'report inappropriate comment' (I only saw the word 'comment', and not that clearly either).
I feel so bad because I thought I was replying to HER, and up pops this statement that Spark would take care of the comment (or something like that). I hope they read my reply because then they'll realize I wasn't reporting anyone but thanking them.
I've been planning on getting my reading glasses updated -- now for SURE, I will get this done.
Not much new to put on my wall. I can't remember if I wrote that my son and his wife had triplets. My other son was sadly surprised with a request for divorce 'out of the blue', so we're all pitching in to help him adjust to this sad surprise. My grandson nearly died in April from a diabetic attack (he had no idea he had diabetes), so he's on a new routine and adjusting well (we're just glad he had good doctors to save his life).
Planning a road trip to see family; finishing up trying to get my thyroid adjusted since they've been overdosing me and I've felt so terrible I've spent most of my time in bed since February when they changed the dosage.
Guess that's about it -- when you're retired, there's not as much to talk about as when you're a busy working mom like I was for so many years.
Now it's time to post this and do a bit of reading... 2840 days ago
