Life IS good. I am now a stay at home, 37 year old mother of 2, and wife. I have struggled with my weight since I was about 18. I have been down to 120 and up to 245 (that was the day i delivered my daughter). Part of the struggle is that I know what to do - eat less, move more, be accountable. Why, then, is it so hard? Why do so many of us struggle with this? I have done Nutrisystem, South Beach, Weight Watchers, Step Diet, 3 Day Diet, etc... With each, I have lost weight, up to 40 lbs in some cases. The problem is the weight never stays gone. It is never a total life style change. I know where the problems are, and could go on and on about how I "know" how to fix them. The only true fix is a total mindset makeover. A complete lifestyle change that is achievable and something to ease into so that the changes stick. I am so greatful to have a website like SP that offers tips, support, and a place to express myself. Thank you in advance for your support and interest in my journey and good luck to you in all of your goals! Together we can achieve wonderful things!!!

My Goals:
I want to set/live a healthy example for my children.  I want to feel good about my husband touching me.  I want to feel good about myself when I get dressed in the morning.

My Program:
For me, being organized and not having to think too hard about what to eat when I'm starving is the key.  The biggest challenge for me is exercise.

Personal Information:
I am 37. I have an 8 year old daughter and a 3 year old sonr. I have been married for almost 10 years. I am originally from OC, NY but have lived in the Ozarks of MO for over 4 years and couldn't be happier!!!
