Hi there! My name is Tina I am a young professional navigating the real world!

I was a Sparker for a while back in 2010, having some of the most successful weight loss of my life. Then, life got in the way. I got a new job, one that involved a lot of sitting, and one that had me gain back all the weight I had previously lost.

So, I'm back! A little bit smarter and much more ready to take on the world!

I have struggled with my weight almost all of my life. I have always been a little curvier than everyone else, but I really gained weight in the last 5 years (40lbs to be exact!) I am really looking forward to leaving the weight behind and getting down to the 140's-130's as a healthy goal weight (I can't remember the last time I saw those numbers on a scale!)

I am looking to get healthier by eating healthy and exercising (aka the old fashion way).

I love to do yoga, snowboard and I am learning how to run. I also love to cook, which presents a challenge, but I'll post any great recipes I have for you to try!

Starting Weight: 196 lbs May 31

June 2011 GW: 190 lbs
6/3: 192 lbs! (-4)
6/10: No weigh in - out of town for a wedding
6/17: 192.2 (+.02) (A wedding and TOM, I'm not sweating it)
6/24: 193.6 (+1.4) Not the direction I want to be headed, but it will be ok :)

July 2011 GW: 186 lbs

August 2011 GW: 181 lbs

September 2011 GW: 176 lbs

My Goals:
I WILL buy myself a pair of designer jeans for my birthday in no larger than a size 12.

I WILL complete my 2nd half marathon in Oct, beating my previous time.

I WILL be in a healthy weight range come January 2012.

I WILL reward myself for every landmark along the way.

I WILL accept myself for who I am, flaws and all!

My Program:
-Log in everyday and track my meals.

-Eat between 1375 and 1550 calories everyday

-Eat breakfast everyday

-Learn to cook healthier versions of my favorite foods.

-Reward myself for every milestone.

Personal Information:
I am 5'6" and my heaviest weight was at 196 (probably higher, but that was the official weigh-in at my nutritionist). I hope to be down to 140-130 and no longer be considered overweight.

    Ohhh, I looove that I graduated, but *hate* that I still technically have two summer classes. I'm in one now and it's kickin' my butt. Exhausting really. I have an hour commute, the course is from 9 - 4:30, then I have to come home, cook, eat, clean, study, sleep. Repeart. They're only 15 days long though!! Yay! (29 days of class total). I'll be done-done-done-done June 18th. YAY YAY YAY!

    How are you?!? Glad to be done?! Sorry yoru graduation was so cold! Ours was inside, and it was nice, boring, but nice. I was just so dang proud to have made it! :) (And I got my grades yesterday, and officially made it!)

    Gain of (point)3 is not bad at all! :) (I wrote point b/c when I first read it I thought it was just a 3). I'm sucking while not tracking. No really. I've gained. And lost. And gained. And lost. I'm not even writing it down :( But, as of this morn. I was 176.4 (I think) and thats up about 5 pounds from my lowest, but not TOOoooo bad. I hit 181 during finals week (that didn't help my stress level), but seems that may have been circumstantial (TOM, finals, stress, not moving at all, etc).

    Wow, sorry this is so long! Glad to hear from you though! I better get back to studying...........booo!

    Yay!! Saturday is right! Unfortunately, that means finals and papers are all NOW! :) I have a month of summer courses to finish up, but once I finish this semester I'll know I can make it!

    How are you doing?? Are you all done? Do you graduate this Saturday too??

    Hey!! THanks for the cheerleading!! Thats exactly what I needed tonight! :) THANK YOU!

    First of all - YOU are a rockstar, defending your thesis and rocking it?! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would do anything to have taken easy classes this semester, but I'm finishing my masters in just one year, so, I didn't have time to take any light courses. Ughhh. Oh yeah, did I tell you that? I'm finishing a masters in 9.5 months?! I do NOT reccomend it.

    3 weeks....3 weeks.....3 weeks..... YES! Then I finish up w/ some summer work and I'm actually done :) (I walk the stage in three weeks, but get my diploma 6 weeks later). Does that make sense?

    And I think the masters hoods are so weird :) I've never heard of them before, so I'm pretty excited (no one in my fam has ever gotten a masters degree.....yay me)!

    Ohmigosh, I better run - up at 6 for lab. Boo!!!
