5/9/08.. Five weeks ago I found I am slowly learning how to navigate aound in it. It has been so helpful. I have lost 15 pounds with a few healthy habits and have been really motavated until the last two weeks where I am stuck at 180 and so anxios to lose into the 170's. I know it will happen if I keep on keepin' on. I turned 60 this year and need to loose weight to get healthier. I am tracking my food and exercising as much as I am able. I am trying to stay motavited. I am a little discouraged the last couple of days and have not been doing my best. I seek encouragment to stay on track. I am still very determined. 5/24/08 The pounds started coming off again a few days after I posted this message. I had a lot of sucess. Anyway, I think so. The other day I was watching some of my grand children and one of the 3 year olds woke from her nap. We snuggled on the couch reading her books and WE BOTH FIT ON THE COUCH. A few weeks ago I had to sit up and hold her. It was a wonderful feeling!!
8/28--This is the longest I have stayed with any healthy lifestyle change. I am having fun, getting healthy and losing weight. I am now after 4 months learning how to navigate around and find even more features. It has not only ke[t my interest. It is changing my life in a very positive way. I have learned not to stess about my weight loss. I now really know when I stick to healthy choices. Healthy things change in my body and mind too really. I read all the articles I have time for each day. I still keep track of my food and exercise. It seems to hlp me stay focused and orgainzed. This web sight has really helped me with my life.

My Goals:
I want to lose weight and get healthy. I was dianozed with diabetes II and have to take medicine. After 30 pounds and miles of walking the Doctor said I can cut my pills in half and in 3 monthe if my blood sugar is still in the normal range I can stop taking my medicine . I plan to continue these healthy habits and know the weight will come off and I will be healthier. I want to feel like I did when I was in my 20's only a lot healthier.

My Program:
I stay in a calorie range of 1200 to 1550. I eat lots of fruit and veggies and Stay away from processed food. I am eating healthy with variety and low fat and very little sugar and whole grains and good fats but not too much.

Personal Information:
I am one of the baby boomers. I was born in 1947. I turn 61 in August. Married for 43 years this year. One daughter two sons. Five granddaughters and one grand son. I have many many hobbies. My favorites change forom time to time. Right know it's walking and exercising and cooking healthy and delicious food . I love playing with my grand children. We garden and have our own greenhouse.

Other Information:
We are very active in our church and volunteer for lots of things. I teach three year olds Sunday School. I like to paint, crochet, sew and watch good movies. I keep all my grand children one day a week . I am very tired at the end of that day but, they are a true joy to me.
