Hi, I'm Dee (short for Deanna). I have struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember. 2009 is my year to get heathly and fit, and change the way I look at food. I'm looking forward to feeling better, being healthier and looking my best this year.

When we feel the weakest and most vulnerable, then is the time to turn to God. God knows what we are up against, even before we call upon Him. There is no one who cares more about how we feel and how we do than God does. He is our staunchest supporter. He also realizes how difficult it is to face our diets alone. He waits for us to call on Him, but He will not force Himself on us until we call. When we do call, He will act quickly to help us, since He already knows what it is we will be asking. Don't hesitate! Call on God when you need Him most.

IF YOU LOVE SESAME SEEDS LIKE I DO, HERE'S A RECIPE TO TRY:

EASY SESAME BARS

2 cups of sesame seeds
1 cup of crushed peanuts
3 Tbs of honey
2 Tbs of sugar

Turn saucepan on med heat. Melt honey & sugar together until sugar dissolves. Add the sesame seeds and crushed peanuts until the mixture is moist and well combined. Keep stirring the mixture over medium heat for 5 minutes until the sesame nuts are golden. Pour the mixture into a 20" x 15" baking tray and smooth the top with a rubber spatula. While still warm cut with a sharp knife into any size bars you desire. Let the mixture cool and then refrigerate for 1 hour until the bars are firm. Remove the bars from the tray and serve. Sesame bars can be kept for up to 1 mo in airtight container in fridge.
