I’m blessed to be a mother to two beautiful daughters, and married 12 years to an amazing man. Growing up I thought I had a weight problem, but looking back I was a normal kid, active in sports, friends and school. I never had a real weight issue until I was in college. After I was married, I joined Weight Watchers in 2001 and lost 40 lbs, at goal and felt amazing. I kept the weight off until I had my first daughter in 2004 then had my second daughter in 2005. After gaining too much weight with both pregnancies, I was faced with a serious problem. I’ve been on and off the Weight Watchers wagon for the past 10+ years and so sick of it. I want to eat real food, live a guilt-free life and feel healthy and strong. I’m ready to quit quitting, stop starting over and get healthy for myself, my kids, my husband and 1,000 other legitimate reasons! The pity party is OVER and it’s time to get real.

My Goals:
Keep binging at bay.

Lots of fruits, veggies and water.

Break the sugar habit.

Stay focused one day at a time. Little things add up to BIG changes.

January 2013: weigh what I did on my wedding day.

My Program:
Eat REAL food, not too much, mostly plants.

Be aware of emotional food triggers.

Keep moving. Find activities I enjoy that are active. Walking, hiking, yoga, running, riding bikes with my girls.

Be more active with my girls. Play outside and make it fun.
