Hello Sparkpeople!
I'm 35 years old and live in Anaheim Ca. Im a very busy mom to 5 boys. Donavan 13, Seth 12, Abraham 7, Noah 6, and Sammy 3.
Each of my pregnancies I gained 50-60 pounds. I joined spark after the birth of my 4th son and it was a great tool to lose the weight. So after the birth of my last son I have been on here trying to lose what I gained with him. The weight has been very slow to come off. But I'm getting very close to my goal weight. After that I hope to tone and gain muscle!
This isn't a diet for me, its a lifestyle and I'm happy to have Spark and the support from other sparkers!
I no longer want to be skinny! I wanna be strong, fit and healthy!

Fitness Minutes: 58,829

My Goals:
I want to get super healthy for my family!
I try to workout everyday.
I'm also watching my salt, and fat intake.
I've been eating lots of fruits & veggies.
I make sure to get enough protein.
I already feel better.
I've never done a rewards system but I'm going to try it-
At 145 lbs_ I'm going to go on a Lush shopping spree.
At 140 lbs- I'm going to get my teeth whitened.
At 135 lbs I'm going to get a new outfit and a professional photo shoot with my family!


My Program:
~1 hr of cardio 5-6x's a week.
~No more than 1,800mg of sodium daily
~Eat Healthy
~Strength Training x 4 days a week
~Come to Sparkpeople everyday!
~Hula Hoop, Ride bikes, rollerskate, and run around with the kids as much as possible
~I measure all my food with a digital scale.

I live in Anaheim,
I am married to an awesome man who supports me fully. I have 5 boys Donavan 13, Seth 12, Abraham 7, Noah 5 and Sam 3. The older boys are interested in eating healthy and walk with us. I'm very lucky that all my boys love eating fruits and veggies.

    I added you to my friends, too! Wow, five kiddos, that's a 24/7/365 full time aerobix class! You look fabulous by the way, if that's you in the photos and not one of your kids!

    I didn't have a weight problem until I got thyroid disease. Thryoid regulates your metabolism, most peeps gain 20 pounds and find it nearly impossible to get it off. Thyroid meds help, but they don't replace healthy thyroid function. I did manage to get the weight off, after I got on meds and was cool for about a year. Then I went into menopause earlier this year, got sick and hello weight gain. I gained it all back within 2 months and then some.

    Thankfully I'm losing again. its ridiculous this thyroid thing!
    But I guess if you have to have a "condition", this one isn't too bad... it just hard on the Vanity.

    Hi! Thanks for stopping by my page! Actually the puppy is a Chihuahua pup. My son found the pic on the web and it resembles our Chihuahua Sammy when he was a puppy. You have a beautiful family. I'll bet you are one busy Mama! Have great day sparking!

    Hi Shannon! I saw your message and read your blog. You may have made a drastic change in your diet too suddenly! Have you tried eating some fruit? When I have sugar & fat cravings I'll eat a couple of chunks of fresh pineapple and low fat cottage cheese. That usually helps without doing too much damage.

    Also, have you considered your protein intake? Offhand I can't remember the amount for women, but it comes out to something like 2 palm-sized steaks and two eggs a day! (Surprise!)
