Introduction Text Hey! Thanks for visiting my page today! My name is Shannon, and I'm a 50 year old wife, mama, and grandma in West Virginia. I have three gorgeous daughters and 6 grandkids! **Update** 2-16-2019 I just started the Ketogenic / keto diet! It's been a little tricky keeping my carbs low enough, and protein high enough, but I'll get there! I'm very excited to finally see results, because nothing I've tried before ever worked very well. ** I'm here because I have just had enough. I have been heavy all my life, and now I've been feeling so uncomfortable in my own skin that it's not funny. I've also been feeling afraid of having a heart attack, which is not advisable for a 40something woman. Not to mention, I feel so totally unattractive. One thing I need to keep reminding myself is that food does not kill pain. Neither emotional or physical. I deal with chronic back and joint pain on a daily basis, but some days are really bad, and I find myself trying to ease the pain with food. Of course, it doesn't work. You'd think my brain would have caught on to this by now, but it's kinda slow. LOL I love arts and crafts, and especially Art Dolls and acrylic painting!
