Hi. I am getting older n this is getting tuffer. lol. I am about 20 lbs heavier than I really want 2 b. I wanted so badly to get into the Border Patrol or the DEA but with an ankle injury I endured a few yrs ago thats out now, so now I decided to become an electrician!

I got engaged my 1st yr of college and it ended more horrible than ever thought could happen when someone says they love you. I got very depressed and all I did was drink, smoke and sit at restaurants eating and drinking coffee while studying. I was working 3 jobs, so I had no time for anything, including exercise. I was lucky to eat, except at 2am, while studying after work.

I finally started working out at school, and with no avail didn't lose much so I got so frustrated after all my workouts and not much loss, I just gave up.

I realized after seeing myself in some of my favorite clothes, that I am fatter than i was when my eating disorder began when i was 13. I don't want 2 go that route again but I am so depressed because of my weight I don''''t know what 2 do anymore. So I figured I would test these waters and see where it gets me. With a program with work I lost 22lbs as of Sep then I fell off and now 10 back on again. I hit 162 and haven't since 09 been be!ow it. So frustrating!

I want to feel sexy and sophisticated when I am out and about again! I would love to try and do a physique comp someday.

    I think you should find a meet and train for it. you'd be amazed how quickly you stop those bad habits when you are deicated to a goal that actually means something to you.

    Thanks for the friend add and comment on my pic. I wish I was still as thin as I was in those pictures. I maintained that for awhile but I was up at 5:00 every morning for 50 minutes of cardio followed by 30-45 min in the weight room PLUS a very strict diet that I didn't stray from. It was nice to be that skinny but I couldn't live up to the very dedicated lifestyle. Unfortunately I let myself slide and got back to my heaviest weight at one point. I have tried to follow a healthy lifestyle again (healthy but yet indulge in things I really like in moderation) but find it hard to stay motivated. I have lost 17 lbs this year but have stalled in my efforts. I'm hoping to get exercising and lifting again on a regular basis and try to lose more. My short term goal is 6 lbs by my birthday (Sept 10th). Hopefully we can keep in touch and keep each other motivated to figure this healthy lifestyle out and get to be where we want to be!!!

    Thanks for commenting on my blog. 😊 The cal yo-yoing seems to be working well for me. Maybe count your weekend of happy drinks as your splurge days then yo-yo the others. I'm curious to see how it works for you as well. Good luck! 👍😝
