Hello- I'm a 37 year female who dropped 100 pounds over the course of 4 years by just eating right and exercising. I lost 40 of those 100 pounds with this website (initially- and then more after pregnancy). In 2009, we were blessed with a healthy baby boy...then with a baby girl in 2012. I gained 60 pounds back during each pregnancy but managed to lose 40 right off the bat (breastfeeding and no more ice cream with peanut butter...and SPARK PEOPLE)! It took me another 3 months to lose another 15 by working out, toning up, and eating right. I finally reached my goal weight. Finding time to workout with two kids is tough (as is getting more than 5 hours of sleep), so I need motivation! Losing weight and staying in shape are a constant battle, because it's all about changing your lifestyle. I've managed to lose weight and stay in shape, but I still allow myself to indulge in sweets and fried foods every now and then! I don't like "diets" in the sense of eating less foods or certain kinds of foods for a certain amount of time. It's all about PORTION CONTROL, EXERCISE, and eating a variety of different foods. Food is something to be enjoyed (in moderation, of course). Working out should be fun- with a variety of different cardio and strength training. I enjoy RUNNING, step aerobics, ZUMBA, belly dancing, treadmill, elliptical, hiking, and running around town. Welcome to my page and good luck on your journey to a healthier lifestyle!

My Goals:
Gain more self confidence, exchange success stories, motivate others, and maintain my healthy lifestyle while enjoying life! Taking care of myself will help me take care of my husband and son!

My Program:
1- Logging in to SparkPeople daily and tracking fitness and nutrition.

2- Working out 5-6 days a week first thing in the morning (3 days run, other 2 fitness classes at the gym).

3- Being active on this website via message boards and teams- providing motivation and receiving motivation.

4- Pilates or Yoga twice a week.

5- Eating 80-90% healthy, natural (low salt and sugar), unprocessed foods.

Personal Information:
I graduated with my MBA one week before giving birth to our son! I landed the glorious job of stay at home mom and enjoy taking care of my two kiddos.

Other Information:
I love SUSHI.
I'm not a picky eater.
I need at least 7 hours of sleep to function correctly (but get way less than that with my baby boy).
I'm obsessed with Food Network and HGTV.
