I'm a mom of 4 boys (19, 15, 13, and 11). My 13yr old had brain cancer and under went his 1st surgery on Jan 13th 2009. They were unable to get all the tumor. Needless to say this is not a shining moment in my life. I have been run ragged by my overly stressful life. But I'm not giving up! This is the most I have ever weighed in my life. I can't wait to go back to school and take back possession of my life and my body! On June 11th, 2012 I had a double mastectomy. It has a very long and hard recovery process but with the support of some very strong survivors I can make it though this! I ran 5 miles a day everyday until I found the lumps in my breasts. It's been over 8 months since I have been able to run. I just got cleared a week ago. I am eager to get back into running. I may not be fast but slow and steady gets it done!! Another set back... a year ago the doctors discovered a bone tumor growing on my skull. They performed a craniectomy and removed a large portion of the left side of my skull and placed a metal plate and bone mesh in its place. I have struggled to feel whole since. 6 months ago I started having lapband issues. I had an emergency gastric scope and they found the band had slipped and needs to come out. I am nervous and fearful I will never be able to get myself back. It is is a daily battle

    The flowers and blossoms are filling the air with the smells of Spring. This is the time to start preparing for the Summer. Are you ready to join a Challenge? The Biggest Loser Challenge is looking for members for it’s next Challenge starting the first week of June. The challenge consists of 11 Teams, that participate in 10 weeks of Nutritional and Fitness Challenges. These challenges can be modified to fit individual needs, allowing members of all abilities and dietary needs to participate.
