Hi, I'm 29 with two kids and I have been gaining weight since I had them....I am finally fed up with the way I look and I am determined to make a change. My goal is to lose 40 lbs. Most importantly I want to live a healthier lifestyle for me and my children. I quit smoking the first of December and I need to continue my healthy trend.
I have a mini goal of losing 10 more pounds by Feb. 19th.
Starting weight: 174 Goal weight for Feb: 164
Wish me luck, hopefully Bootcamp will help aid in this endeavor.

My Goals:
Update 12/10
Starting a 3 week challenge with EA Sports Active and new goal to be 150 by April!
Update 10/10
I would like to lose 15 lbs and try to stay active through the winter months coming up. I also have quit smoking (again) and am on day 3! I would like to continue to be smoke free!

Original Goal:I would like to lose 40 lbs and become more active. Continue to be smoke free and be able to play with my kids for longer periods of time without getting winded or tired.
I WANT TO BE A KID AGAIN!! (or at least act like one sometimes)

My Program:
I decided to utilize this section to set my short term goals each month. So here are the new ones (1/11)

1. Workout on EA Active 4 times a week

2.Monitor my diet better and increase water intake.

3. I want to use the bowflex 2x a week

3. Try one new healthy recipe a week.

Hopefully I can motivate my husband to do this again with me!!

Personal Information:
I am 30 years old, married for 8 years and have two beautiful children ages 7 and 9. I am a nurse and I work long hours, so getting to the gym regularly can be a challenge!

Other Information:
New Short Term Goal:
By end of January 2011
Lose 5 lbs, get down to 158!

    Hey! Sorry it took me forever to respond! Things have been crazy! I got in a car accident. I am fine but it has been such a hassle with car repairs and all that garbage. And then the holidays were insane of course :) Anyway I am sorry to say I am going to be leaving Spark People. I think it's an awesome thing I just honestly don't have the time to check in and keep up with the tracking and all. I feel bad because I don't want to be discouraging to anyone else but I haven't been on here in almost 2 weeks and I don't see myself being any more regular about it in the future. Anyway I wish you ALL THE BEST on your weight loss journey!!! I am going to be continuing in my efforts - I am down a few pounds even with all the extra stuff that's been going on so that's good.
