Introduction Text Hi, I'm Lisa. I live in the Bay Area of Northern California and think it's the best place on earth to live. I love the outdoors and especially enjoy running, hiking and scuba diving. My husband and I are trying to be vegan which is not always easy. It's fine when we're at home cooking for ourselves, but if we go to a friends house and they're cooking up some steaks or chicken we'll certainly eat it without making a big deal out of it. We don't want to be "those people" who are not gracious enough to accept what is being served. I also love to do yoga and meditation, and am in the process of learning to love the body I have! I love animals and nature and one of my dreams is to scuba dive with whales in Maui.

My goal is to get back to my "healthy weight" of 165. That's when I look and feel my best! Run a half marathon in 2015.

Work out for at least 30 minutes five times a week. Walk at least 5 miles each week. My favorite piece of workout equipment is my Fitbit, it motivates me to achieve 10,000 steps a day. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!

I'm a very spiritual person, but not religious. I have a positive outlook on life and always see my glass as half full. Who knows, maybe I only wanted half a glass anyway.

I lost both my parents several years ago due to weight related issues. I vow to lead a much healthier and more active lifestyle and NOT follow in their footsteps.
