    Sorry to have missed that you joined Living Binge Free. We concentrate there first on just not bingeing, no matter how or what else we eat that day, no matter whether we've been exposed to triggers or not; basically, no matter what, we just don't binge. But we also know that for most, this doesn't happen overnight, but with slips along the way. We recommend being very firm with ourselves BEFORE a binge happens, but gentle and drama-free afterwards. To support this, we work on our "resistance muscle" while also developing a LIFESTYLE of eating reasonably and fairly consistently, which can depend on each person's situation. If she has a present health condition, she will probably need to eat from a narrower spectrum of food. We don't push any particular eating program, but do recommend that members keep increasing the quality of their food-less manufactured food= less of the foods with the intense fat/salt/sugar combo, and more fresh or simpler food, while decreasing the others and eating reaonable amounts at good meals throughout the day. Then we know we don't need that extra food, and certainly not that binge. We can let our bodies tap into their stores until the next good meal. Though we know weight loss is important, we don't eat well just to lose weight. We eat well because THAT is a key part in the puzzle of living well. We take away the excuse that we can let our plan go just because we aren't seeing weight loss. We aren't on a diet! We are eating for vitality and pleasure, which we cannot get with bingeing and frequent feeling too full.

    No matter what your history has been, it doesn't mean you are forced to live a life chained to compulsive overeating.

    Let us help support you while you dismantle the bond. This can take much longer than you want, but so what? The time is going to pass anyway, so you might as well keep learning. emoticon
