Hi, I'm 66 years old and have had lupus since I was 9. Along the way I have added fibro, asthma, osteoarthritis, IBS, anticardiolipin antibody syndrome, and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (I'm in treatment for relapse). I stay positive with help from God and my friends. I love to swim and swim for 1-1.5 hours 3-5 times a week at my local Y. I don't hurt in the water. I got the best compliment yesterday...guy in the next lane told me I swam like a dolphin!!! I would live in the water if I could. I'm looking for a SC buddy (near Greenville) or somebody fighting cancer and autoimmune diseases....someone very upbeat.
Looking forward to meeting my new friends.
