I am still here and I am still committed to reaching my goal.

In December of 2006 I was almost wearing a size 20. I didn't want to admitt that but it is what it is... I teach dance 4 to 5 days a week and had stamina for days but was still getting bigger. Physically fit but fat - how did that happen? Because my body is well conditioned the short intense dance sessions were not moving my heart rate and definitely not burning enough calories... So I am here to balance myself and bring my sexy back! I know you are with me!

This summer, my marriage came to an end aburptly. I thought that I had a committed and loyal relationship with someone who was also my friend - I couldn't have been more wrong. Stress pushed me to lose the weight that I had been holding on to all this time and now that I think about it maybe that is what everything boiled down to "dead weight." I am now healing. My family and I are healing. My children and I are moving forward to bigger and better things. We are worth it. It is hard sometimes but I am taking it day by day, moment by moment and minute by minute. I am living for happiness. I am living for my children. I am living for me.

I am pushing my babies and myself to remain physically active so that we can have a healthier image than I was raised with being the daughter of a chef... We lived to eat, not ate to live. In the end, poor diet is what made my father's senior years hard and painful and finally I lost him in 2001 to congestive heart failure. I now push my children to eat plenty of salads and vegetables and to limit the amount of red meat that they eat. Sickness is not a birthright it is a choice...

Fitness Minutes: 21,371

My Goals:
I view myself like a company and homies it is TIME TO DOWNSIZE! I am 30 and I want to get a grip on my weight now before I wake up one day in a moo moo...

My Program:
Because of my high impact job - I am including low impact aerobics/walking/pilates/sculpting... I am trying to do at least 30 minutes a day.

Food wise I am listening to my body not my mind. I am taking my time to enjoy food instead of scarfing it down.
