My name is Sarah, I am 21 years old and a college junior at SUNY Buffalo (State University at Buffalo) studying Linguistics with a concentration in language in cognition in order to become a Hindi/Urdu translator. I am from Syracuse, New York.

I have struggled with my weight on and off since the beginning of my freshman year of high school gaining weight, losing, gaining..always the same pattern. I finally decided that enough is enough. I don't need to feel crappy about myself or hate myself out of frustration every time I go to the mall to buy myself clothes only to end in tears of disappointment.

If I want to like what I see, and feel good about what I see and who I am, I can. I just need to actually get up and do something about it rather than just complaining about it, feeling sorry for myself, or wishing things were different.

Nowadays, I don't pity myself, Im beginning to like how I feel and look, and I accept absolutely no excuses or complaints from myself. I am doing this because I have to, I won't give myself any other option and that's that. :)

Enjoy going shopping without becoming upset and frustrated about myself

My Program:
Strength Training 5-6 days per week
-upper body
-lower body

Sometimes some Pilates if I can fit it in

Portioning my meals

Keeping Track of how many servings of each food group I am eating per day

Drinking water constantly

    Hi Sarah thanks for checking in on me. I was on a roll with my workout's until Sunday morning I work up with vertigo and my life has been a topsy turvey week of feeling like I'm on a boat. No working out, no driving. Just eating and sleeping, a bad combination. I have 2 papers to write and homework to do all due by Sunday so I have to calm my brain and get it done.

    Glad you had a great Spring break. Any good recipes you can suggest?? Always trying to think of good dinner ideas for the fam.

    I am 40 with 6 kids (combined family) a husband, a full time job and taking 3 classes online. TV is something that I never had time to watch anymore because I always have something to do. I have to help my kids with homework, prepare dinner, read a million chapters and post in my conferences. I've been at it for YEARS now so I am pretty use to it.

    I know your excited about Spring break. Online doesn't get a break. Well enjoy and good luck.

    LOL!!! It's funny you should ask about my paper..... well I only typed 2 paragraphs last night ( it need to be 3-5 pages.. not too bad).. I just sat down to do it. I have till midnight. I work better under pressue so hopefully I'll be finished by 8 pm. I have another class that I need to do my conference postings for. So it looks like I have a pressure filled evening ahead of me.

    How about you? Did you get yours finished?
