So in short here is my story: I gained weight during my high school years do to emotional eating. Then in college I gained self-confidence and therefore thought I was the hottest thing around (and i still think that, don't worry) even though the scale says otherwise. I've always known that I am overweight, and I used to obsess about it, because I cared so much about what people thought about me. I have freed myself of this self-loathing behavior, but now I realize that being 20 lbs oveweight is bad for my health as well and means I am not being the best me I can be. So now I'm going to use sparkpeople to do this the right way, and do it for no one else but me. i hope for once something sticks. Also my ultimate motivation is to get in shape in order to ride my bike across the country for low-income housing a year and a half from now when I graduate from college. I have wanted this for 3 years now, and nothing will get in the way of me riding my bike into the Pacific ocean, especially not a couple pieces of pizza.

My Goals:
1. I want a healthy BMI, so I want to be 135 lbs meaning i need to lose about 17 lbs. total.
2. I want to get in to the habit of working out on a regular basis.
3. I want to only put things that are good for my body into my body.
4. I want to get in shape so when I graduate I be the adventurer I was born to be.

My Program:
1. I'm just gonna follow stuff on this website.
2. I'm training for a 5K which will hopefully end in me doing a half marathon with the Dean of Students.
3. I would also like to give up my addictions to sugar, cheese, and sour cream.

Personal Information:
I go to Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.
I am an Urban Studies major.
I just came back from a semester abroad in Buenos Aires.
I am in a sorority.
I like to play tennis and do outdoor recreation.
I plan to either work in Non-profits or be a City Planner.
Guacamole is my obsession in life.
