Introduction Text I am 61, have lost 100 pounds twice before, and want to do it again for the last time.

1. cardio workouts - walking in the park near my home - 6x a week 2. using a pedometer to count my steps - ultimate aim is 10000 daily. 3. drinking the water daily 4. keeping a food journal and aiming for 1460-1660 calories per day 5. weighing myself occasionally 6. reading articles on this website 7. reading other people's submissions for inspiration 8. measuring myself monthly



My favorite hobbies are knitting, reading, playing with my lab retriever, volunteering for a lab rescue. I also teach knitting, am a retired elem. principal, and am the president of the congregation of my church. I have 4 step-grandchildren who live nearby and enjoy being with them.
