    Here are my thoughts on gyms: 1. they are pricey, and the only reason I've been considering one is because I'm in a new place, I want to meet new people, and I don't have the room in this tiny house to have equipment; 2. you can lose the weight on your own; 3. gyms CAN be motivational. OR...you can just power walk around your 'hood and invest in some 15, 20, and 25 pound dumbbells and start doing squats and lunges with them every other day. God only knows that's how I did it and I lost 110 pounds.

    I think you should start with nutrition, personally. Measure, weigh, count, every lil' thing that slips into your piehole. EVERYTHING. I know it's tedious, but you won't regret it when you see results. Don't go telling me that a Snickers bar has the same calories as a whole wheat veggie sandwich because I already know...the difference is, your body will metabolize that sandwich much better than it will that Snickers bar. You have to think of your body as a machine. Cuz that's what it is.
