Hi, Im Samantha, Im 39 and a wife, mother, step mother, hairstylist, i have 2 children living at home. And i may have 2 more here soon. I am a step mother to a total of 14 kids and have one of my own. YES ITS ALOT!!!!!!! but I wouldnt change a thing... I am wanting to lose the weight for myself, my husband who I love with all my heart and is supporting me, and for the 2 children that may be moving in come June. I need to be able to keep up with a very VERY active10, and 11 year old.
I may not weigh in much for I do not own a scale for they end up maken me stop for I dont see the results I want as fast as I want. Yes I know its not the scales fault but I also do not want the 11 year old to think that a life revolves around a number on a scale, Yes she is on the heavy side so I am hopeing that once she is here we can work out together even if it is just walking the dog, or walking around our neighborhood.

    You said you wanted some support in the Huddle. I'm here to be your cheerleader any time. It's been a life long struggle for me but now I'm of the mind-set that I JUST HAVE TO DO IT!

    SparkPeople is a great motivator for me. It can be for you, too! Though I joined just before Christmas, within the last couple of months I set some goals that have changed my attitude about myself and my vision for the future. Baby steps will get you there.

    There are many SparkTeams that I've joined. Please research based on your interests and join a team in which you can feel comfortable engaging daily. That so helps me keep up my current pace of daily login and daily minimum of 10 min of fitness.
