My name is Danise and I joined this website a while back , with the intent of losing weight. I was successful for a while, but sadly to say, that due to a lot of stuff that was going on in my life, I have fell off the wagon. I have come to a stand still and am not losing the weight or doing what I am suppose to. I know that my first mistake was when I stop logging on to Sparks,but now I am back, and am ready to go.
I want to set a goal and reach it, and not just go thru the motions. I plan on being outside running with my boys showing them how to play soccer.
I realized that I have taken the most important step by realing that I need to step up and take losing weight seriously.
Only then, can I say good bye, for good, to the weight.
I am finished with being interested in losing weight, I'm committed to it!!!!

My Goals:
My goals are to reach the weight of 180.

Get back to running and maybe do a competitive obstacle course!! That would be my dream!! I would love to do something like Dirty Girl Run, Spartan Run or something to that nature..

Get back to my pre baby size, when I could put on any thing and knew that it would fit me right.

I'm doing it for me!!!


My Program:
I plan on doing cardio at least 3 days a week. and strength train the next. I want to lose the weight and tone as I go. Summer is on it's way and I plan on running outside and doing as much cardio as I can outdoors.



Personal Information:
I took my first cruise this year and I want to take another one!! But I want to be 20 pounds lighter, so I can truly enjoy myself and do all of the adventure trips with my two boys!! I figure I might as well start now!!


Other Information:
I love to do Zumba and I figure there's no better way to lose weight it than to do it by dancing to good music!!

    Hey!

    I am sending out a personal invite to all my spark to The Rocky Summer Challenge, a challenge that is designed to help you build strength in your core, upper body and lower body along with building up your endurance in cardio while also combining the fun of “The Biggest Loser” weight loss idea. This challenge starts on June 1st and will last 4 weeks. Sign up are on my team, “The Challenge” which is located on my sparks page. (The thread is in the introduce yourself forum). More info is included there too (you don’t have to join in order to see the info) and you can email me a request for more details before joining.

    We have done this challenge before (before the team was started) and it was a huge success. The request from spark buddies, who took part in this last time, has been tremendous so it’s coming back!!!

    I encourage you all to invite a buddy to the team (everything is more fun with a friend) and if you do so, I’ll be pairing you both (or how ever many) onto the same team together. Remember the more the merrier!

    Hey lady! Thanks for the note. The challenge is going pretty well on the milage end... although I struggled with my calories in the beginning. Travel always gets the best of me! Hope that things are continuing to go well for you.

    BTW - I'm going to Alaska this summer on a cruise with my family. Should be lots of fun!
