1/18/2017-Weight as of a week and a half ago at the doctor's office was 278.6, my highest weight. Five days later, I went vegan.

Past updates
2010: I had noticed that I was getting bigger, but I never thought I'd see the day when 22W jeans were tight on me. I went through my entire closet and nothing fit other than that one pair of jeans and a pair of black pants that I managed to squeeze into for work. I knew I needed to do something.

**New for the new 2011's been discovered that I have a cyst on my ovary. This makes certain exercises painful and it makes it hard to lose weight past 220 lbs. I go this week (1/12) for a ct scan to see if I'm going to lose my ovary to surgery. All the sudden, getting healthy has become a crucial reality to even have a slim chance at having our first child.

**11/17/11: It's been a year since my cyst was discovered. It hasn't grown that much and my husband and I are continuing on our journey for our first child. I've learned how to push through the pain of the cyst and I've found other exercises that work the same muscle without causing too much physical stress. I was doing really well with my weight and had gotten back down to 220, but now I find myself back at 255. Ugh. I have to find a way to push through the 220 mark, that seems to be where I always sabotage myself.

***March 2012-Weight: 268 lbs. Our 5 year anniversary was on the 17th. We decided to go on a cruise for our anniversary next year and I pulled out P90X to start the long weight loss road again.

***April 2012-I've discovered Brazil Butt Lift! I lost 12 lbs. in my first two weeks. I love, love, love the dancing and the music on these videos. I took my "before" butt pictures and was appalled to see each of my butt cheeks looked like a rectangle. Gross!

***May 2012-My parents have gotten into the Belly Fat Cure by Jorge Cruise and my Dad lost 16 lbs. in two weeks. A lot of it was backed up toxic intestinal waste. The nutrition plan isn't much different than what I'm already doing and since diabetes runs in my family, I really need to be watching my sugar intake anyway, so here I go! 15 grams sugar/6 servings of complex carbs per day.

***February 2013-Weight is 271.8. I've been through a lot of emotional ups and downs with my marriage and I think we've finally found the groove that works best for us right now. I'm considering going mostly vegetarian. I've discovered Zumba! I found that P90X is too hard for me at this weight and I only do damage to the door frames with the pull-up bar (and we're renting a house right now), so I'm sticking with Brazil Butt Lift and Zumba. I'm also into some heavy soul-searching and meditation trying to overcome my people-pleasing streak as well as tap into my natural ability to heal others. So far, I'm very pleased with the process. Also, we'll be moving from TN to FL by October and I think that will really increase my motivation. I was born and raised in FL and it's home, so it's nice to be going back where I feel the deepest connection. So far we haven't conceived and I'm considering becoming a doula and maybe a midwife. I feel like I can be of help with my ability to calm and heal others.
