RubyDoodle: I do hope your CT surgery went well, Sorry its taken me so long to get back to you. Lots of things going on around here,

We are leaving Monday the 18th for a week and going to Colorado, my husbands niece lives in Ft Collins, they have a home on the golf course so my husband will be playing a lot i'm sure.
My knees will keep me from walking much, but I'm really looking forward to just getting away for a while and visiting with family, we are taking his sister and another niece with us.
Do hope the storms didn't cause you trouble.

Guess I better get off here and go to bed its kind of late for me.

I am so happy for your sister!!!! God is amazing!! I hope your dental appointment goes well. Phil goes the 29th to get his crown to replace the temporary one. Thank you for the prayers for my surgery!! I am looking forward to ending the years of tingling and numbnessI am REALLY looking forward to cooler weather. I hope I can start walking then!! My bicycle was stolen while we went to TN this last time. It was the best bike I ever had and had stainless steel cables, etc. to keep it from rusting. I will never have a bike that good again, unfortunately. Oh well, the golf carts have spoiled us anyway. Phil said when we got the first one that it would probably be our undoing for walking. Now we have two!! LOL!!!! Oh well, we do enjoy them. Take care and keep me updated!! emoticon

Hi Kay: Boy, its so good to hear from you, glad your back on your food plan, Sorry to hear about the carpal tunnel surgery. Aug 28th is my dental appointment day, so I will pray for you while I'm in that dental chair.

We are all doing fairly well, Just this last Monday we took my sister back to her own home and she went back to work. She went to the hospital last November very critical and lost a leg. She was in rehab for a while and then went to live with her daughter in January of this year. Now she is able to live alone and work. Praise our Lord, he is GOOD. I talked to her last night, she works a 6 hour shift at the school cafeteria. She said she really gets tired and has to set down some, but knows she will get a little more strength back every day.

I am still plugging away at loosing this weight, but haven't been very faithful about really working at it like I should, I try to walk a little each day and keep moving, but not real faithful about that either. I will get better and work a little harder with more consistency .

HAVE A GREAT DAY, CJ from OK. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

How are things going with you now and your family? I am still plugging away after going off the diet most of last fall and winter. I'd like to lose around 20 more pounds. I have been back on the diet since May. I still do not exercise with any regularity. We are at the beach for two weeks, but we leave to go back to TN Aug. 28 for me to have carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand. I need it on both hands, but only one at a time!! We spent most of the summer in TN. It is sweltering here at the beach - like walking out of the house into a crock pot to slowing cook!! I am looking forward to fall!!

Kay: Just wanted to say HELLO, and let you know I haven't forgotten about you, things around here have been kind of hectic, back on July 11th my son and his family moved home from Florida and stayed with us until last weekend, they are in their new home now and both have good jobs, then in October we found out one of my sisters had a fast growing cancer in her colon, liver and lungs, she had 3 feet of her colon taken out, but the cancer just was too bad in liver and lungs, she went home to be with our Lord on November 17th at the same time on November 16th my youngest sister went to hospital and had a arterial blood clot and had to have her leg amputated about 4 inches above the knee and a whole lot of other clots everywhere, she was in ICU for a week, they didn't expect her to live, but praise our Lord said not this time. so today she is in rehab and learning to walk with one leg and other things are all getting better. She is just doing amazing. She will be going home with her daughter on the 16th of December, Just one month after her surgery. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon Enough of that stuff, I'm getting back to some kind of normal (not sure what normal is)

Are you still in your little villa on the beach or are you home. would love to hear from you. I am doing about the same, I haven't lost or gained much through this last 5 months, but I'm getting back to staying on track and trying to keep up a little bit of walking, I walked so much up and down hospital halls, I would love to know how many miles I did really get, I'm so grateful to my Lord for giving me the strength and not much pain in my knees or back during this time.
