Hi SparkPeople Family.

God is my number one priority. Seek first His Kingdom. After that, all else will fall in place. Matthew 6:33.

I have struggled on and off with weight since having kids.
I’m trying to lose down to 150. About 60 pounds.
I would like macronutrient ratio to be 40% Carbs with 30% protein and 30% Fat. I've heard that 1 gram of protein for each kg of weight is healthy. My nutritionist told me that. So for me right now that is 90 grams of protein a day.

2019:
November 18: I stopped eating sweets. Any exceptions, if any, during the holidays will be recorded here for my record. But I plan on refusing any sweets unless it would seem insulting to those who offer it. Items that have low amounts of sugar in the ingredients (such as salad dressing, taco sauce, etc.) but are not sweets, breads, or desserts will be okay to eat as long as the sugar content is low. Barbeque sauce's sugar content is too high, so I eat G Hughes sugar free BBQ sauce.

2019 Holiday weight record: (Thanksgiving 11/28)
Su 11/24: 200.8
Th 11/28: 202:8
Fr. 11/29: 202.2
Su. 12/1: 201.8. Weigh in day - Sunday
Gained 1pound thanksgiving week.

12/2/19: SUGAR/SWEETS fast ended. Hopefully I will only eat sweets rarely on special occasions. Today was not a special day, I just was bored and gave in. It lasted two weeks.

12/8/19: Fell out of the healthy habit. Have been compulsive on sugar and gained 9 pounds in a week.

My Goals:
God first. Look to Him for all my needs so I don't run to food.
Lose weight down to 150.
Walk 6000 steps a day.
Stay healthy, no sugar, no compulsive eating.


My Program:
I like the paleo plan. No processed foods, Lots of water and fresh fruits and vegetables, healthy animal proteins.
Premiere Protein Shakes. Not really sticking with any specific plan though.
