The meals are from the TOPS retreat August 09 in Sudbury Ont. In 5 days we averaged 4+ lbs loss each every one of the 42 of us lost, and we had 1500 calories 3 meals 2 snacks every day.

I am the proud Mum of Chaparal's Petit Pixie. Pixie is overweight and only a year old. I am overweight and 55 years old. She has 6 pounds to lose and I have 50. We love to hike the magnificent Bruce Peninsula and have started the Bruce Trail Association's "40 Great Years - 40 Great Hikes" anniversary challenge. portion of the Bruce Trail that runs atop the Escarpment on Dyer's Bay. I heard a loon cry on the water from the cliff top, and even got a few pics, but you would have to believe me that the little speck is a loon. And the biggest thrill, on the trip back to the car we came across a rare and endangered Massassaga Rattler. This one even more rare because it is H U G E Four foot plus!

Someone said "Oh they would love some snow" I immediately pressed "join this group" stood up and took some pics for them, didn't even go out in the stuff, well except for the trail Pix & I have made for her needs.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I like a round pot, but my granddaughter always loved the "duck" that I got at Epcot - souvenir from foreign country. The tea pours out the beak.
And one of my favorites that had a little candle burner under it developed a crack, so no longer use it.
One of my mother's old Franciscan teapots has no lid, so I bought a new teapot in same pattern and had a lovely flower arrangement put into the old one and it sits in the China cupboard.
Teapots and I go back a long ways. I have gotten so I use less expensive ones for every day and they are so pretty with the cozies, no one knows the difference.
Oh, time for a cup of tea!!!

Hi, I loved your comments today on the slideshow about tea. I, too, am a tea lover and have been since childhood.
You are so right about boiling water for tea. I never forgave a Sunday School teacher in our adult class who put water on for instant coffee and for tea. He announced that the water was ready for tea as it did not need to be boiling, but they would wait for boiling water to make the coffee. Funny how things like that stick in your mind for 45 or more years.
I absolutely refuse to drink tea if it is made in any container that once contained coffee as it is ruined by coffee flavor.
I just had a sewing friend make me 3 lovely "tea cozies" for my teapots. She used one I purchased in Nova Scotia years ago as a pattern.
Matter-of-fact, teapot is on my shopping list for next week when we vacation in Williamsburg. I broke one recently.
I order Chai Tea by the case from Amazon since the one I like is no longer available in stores. I have one or two cups every morning, but it is best with sweetener and creamer.
Enjoy your tea as much as I enjoy mine.

    Hi Rosie!

Stopping by to say Thanks for the comment on my page, and welcoming me to the team!! My lists tend to definitely get long, haha. I like the 'you can do anything for 15 minutes' moto. I'll have to remember that when I'm having lazy days!!

    Thanks again. Happy Friday!!
