Okay, I fell way off the wagon and regained all of the weight I'd lost last year! It was SOOOO easy to put it all back on, and what I realized was that I didn't have the tools to handle the tremendouls work stress that I endured last year. So, now I am re-starting the journey and hope to not only strengthen my body but also my mind as I go forward. I cannot go back again...I need to get healthy and be happy for the rest of my life. There is so much yet I want to do!

My Goals:
I want to be healthy. I have an extremely stressful job, and I need to be in good shape to handle whatever comes. I want to be around for a long time to care for my son! I also wouldn't mind looking good and feeling good in my clothes!

My Program:
My goal is to focus on drinking water and becoming balanced from a hydration standpoint. Also, I would like to focus on getting enough sleep each night, and working on increasing aerobic exercise activity. I will be making up a grocery list and shopping each week. No more eating out!! I know HOW to do it, but I just need to refocus my efforts and get moving.

Personal Information:
I'm from Pittsburgh PA, but I've lived in Columbia SC for 19 years. I'm divorced and a single parent of a 9 year old son. I am a school principal, and actively involved in my Catholic faith.

Other Information:
I love watching football and I'm a big Steeler fan. I love to read trashy romance novels--I admit it--it is my guilty pleasure.
I also have been reading a lot of Children's literature since I'm competing with the school in a reading contest.
I sing in a choir and do some solo work.

    Thank you for adding me as a Spark Friend. I have added you as well. Things are a bit stressful for me right now and I haven't had much time to be active on the site, but that should change in the next couple of weeks and then I hope to get back into it full force.

    Awww...thanks for commenting on my wild and wacky (over!)eating adventure, Rose! LOL!! I usually pull out all the stops once a month, but limit the wild excess to that one day. So far, fortunately, it hasn't got in the way (or would that be "weigh"?) of my weight loss, but I had so much sugar in me, I had to take a several-hour nap! I had gotten up very, very early to head out to the farmers' market, came back very sleepy, and ended up sleeping for several hours today!
