Hello and welcome to my sparkpeople webpage! I was married for 12 years and got divorced in January of 2017. I have 3 kids that are now 3, 6 and 8.Things have been difficult, but we are managing. My ex is still a great friend, and he has moved on to body building and looks great. He is living the dream and you wouldn't recognize him now. I haven't been able to lose my baby weight from my 3 kids and I have about 60 pounds now that I'd like to get rid of. I've had a hard time getting in the right mind set which is half of the battle, but I know that I can do this because I have done it before. Here is my past story to prove to myself that I can still do this:

My husband and I both struggled with being obese our whole lives and tried many diets and ways of losing weight. Nothing worked until we found Sparkpeople. It took us a year, but In 2008 both my husband and I finally reached our goals - I lost 110 pounds and he lost 185 pounds! I also was able to get pregnant and gave birth to a beautiful baby boy in April of 2009.

After Jacob was born, I took a bit of a hiatus. Then in 2010, I had just started to lose the baby weight I had gained from the first child when I found out I was pregnant again. We had a beautiful baby girl in June of 2011. I came back to sparkpeople again to try and lose the weight. After another year, I once again got pregnant and gave birth to a beautiful baby at the end of February 2014.

My Goals:
I am back to get rid of the 60 pounds of baby weight after having my 3 kids. I also want energy to play with them and to make my knees stop hurting so much. I'm shooting for 170 (out of obesity) by November and then 150 for my long term goal.


My Program:
I attend a gym 2 days a week and do zumba or elliptical. I am mostly just working on my eating right now since that has been the hardest for me since having kids.

I love to go fishing whenever possible, and I like playing games on my phone or reading a book when I get a few minutes of alone time.

    I was reading your blog. You are doing great. I wish I had only 7 lbs. to go before the end of our BLC challenge. I hope to leave Twotterville & enter Onederland by the end of May at the latest if my body cooperates! Your countdown to Onederland has already begun.     YO, Paula. U R on a roll. It makes me happy to see that. A bit closer to ONEDERLAND everyweek. One day at a time. The best to you in week 4 of the BLC35. I see you are still hanging out with me on the steady loser list. I luv that place. It is an inspirational place to be.

    I am going out today with a friend to an all U can eat salad bar. UGH!! It will take me all week to make that one up.

    This morning I am going out to work in the garden. I am hoping the weather will be good so I get my pool time in late afternoon.
