Here is my lesson on shifting lol Ok I am gonna assume u have 2 knobs, the left side goes to three. I would start with 2 on that side and just leave it alone. 1 is for ppl who are just starting. 2 is for when u get a little better and 3 as as high as u can go when u feel strong, keep that on 2. Ok the right knob has 7 gears? This is the one u actually use and mess with. The other knob u leave alone. I usually ride on gear 5 I would say. When your going up a hill and u need to make it easier u gear down. So go down to like a 3. But do it slowly while riding. You have to change gears while riding or the bike gets tripped up. You also would stay on a lower gear when your riding across streets so that u can take off fast. If your in a higher gear you gotta get up some umph to go. Ok the higher gears are for when your going downhill and you need more control of the petals. Also the higher the gear the less spinning you need to do. The lower the gear the more spinning u do the distance u go lol I have heard that riding in a high gear when your not supposed (hills) can screw up your gearing (guilty). I hope that helps lol That's why I got a new bike. I was riding on 3 on the right side and 7 on the left and having issues getting my heart rate up.

I use to tape a lot of the Xena shows. I do want to get some of the seasons on DVD, also when she first came on Hercules. My first Xena figure is from the Hercules series

Totally agree, pits can make great dogs. They need extra discipline by their owners. But they are not so good with other dogs. I knew some ppl on myspace who has 2 rat terriers and a pitbull mix. The pit was raised with the ratties from a puppy. The people left the house for a walmart run and came back and found one of their rat terrier dead. The pit mix just turned and attacked the rat terrier. It was so sad! But I could totally see it happening, they have a mean streak in them. I love my little ratties! I always wanted a pug but when the time came to get a dog I couldn't afford a pug. My dad always told me rat terrier made great dogs. They are virtually mix breed pure breds. They have very few health issues and they live forever. So when I saw rattie puppies at a flea market and chubby Ralph was there, Scott and I had to take him home. This woman I ran into at petsmart said to me "Oh is that a rat terrier?? Mine just passed at away at 22!" eeeeek!

That is so sad you lost her so young! We used to go to the dogpark all the time in our other city The dogpark here tho is kinda scuzzy. Pitbulls always seem to be attracted to my dogs and they have little man syndrome and snap on them. Makes me so nervous that I just stopped taking them. Our 2 dogs just pull until they are hyperventilating. So I figured if I got the pinch then they would try working themselves up into a tizzy. They have gotten better with time and I don't use it as much. But I know they are really good on big dogs. My dad has some at his office we used for pullers when dogs boarded.

Oooh I didn't know you still had one dog. Have you tried getting a pinch collar? Some ppl thinking they are kinda cruel but ya know if the dog is hurting your wrist then its worth it to use it. I have 2 little pinch collars for my dogs cuz they pull and once they try they feel it and thats it they stop. I worked for my dad as his receptionist for 6 yrs and I remember seeing a lot of tumors on boxers. The people who have them to love them to death. Lots and lots of energy! The seat will feel better as you go. It's just hard when u first start doing the long rides, your butt needs to grow accustom.
