I am ready to change my life and start living the life I love!

Hello! My name is Rita, I am 24 and recently started my own business and I finally feel "settled" in life, like I have a purpose again. No more floundering! Now it's time to get back in shape! I want to do this right so that I don't have to worry about slipping back into old ways (and old pants) no matter what direction I choose in life.

I am lucky to have the support of my wonderful husband who has been running with me and making sure we both eat well. Which is especially sweet since he has clearly been blessed with a superhuman metabolism and has no need for dietary/fitness changes whatsoever.

So join me if you are ready to begin a healthy lifestyle!

    Hi!
I saw in the "20 Somethings with 25-49 Pounds to Lose" team that you have reached a goal. I just wanted to congratulate you.

Hey, Rita! I'm doing pretty good. I was down 6 lbs. when I weighed last week. Unfortunately, I lost some speed on my workouts because my back was killing me. I'm better now and was back in yoga today. I'm also going to try going gluten-free for the next month or so. It could be that my back troubles come somewhat because of systemic inflammation, and so I'm trying this to reduce the problem. My husband lost a lot of weight when he went GF, and I'm sort of hoping this will help!

Thanks for checking in--it helps me!

We have the same fitness game you do. I've only done it once so far and I too was pooped out after the fitness test. I went on and did the Skinny Jeans workout and the Tai Chi. Matt has done it several times. I need to get back after it this weekend!

Hey, I weighed in today and have lost 4 lbs. in the last week! Woot!
