I "fell" off the wagon. So, to speak! I have never been good at keeping a journal...so keeping up with this site was difficult. However, I am ready to recommit!

Unfortunately I gained most of my weight back since Halloween. UGH! But I won't dwell on that anymore. I'm not perfect. I decided to update my goals and start again.

Here they are:

Weight before SparkPeople: 169
Starting Weight - 151

By January 18th - 149***I DID IT***
By Jaunary 25th - 147***I DID IT***
By February 1st - 145 ...I missed it! boo hoo!
By February 8th - 143...I missed it again! Aye!!!!!!
By February 15th - 145***I DID IT BY FEB. 13th***
By February 22nd - 143...I missed another goal....arrrggghhh!
By March 22nd - 143...I DID It by April 6th
By March 29th - 141...I DID it by April 9th
By April 5th - 139...I DID it by April 17th
By April 12th - 137
By April 19th - 135
By April 26th - 133
By May 3rd - 131
By May 10th - 129
By May 17th - 127
By May 24th - 125

April 1st my husband asked for a divorce. April Fool's Day indeed! So, I once again found myself off track. I did not gain much weight back however. It was tempting to feel sorry for myself and say "I'll never do it"...but I am determined now more than ever. I WILL reach my goal. I reset my goals on Spark and reset my goal date for August! Here I go!

My Goals:
My UPDATED goals are:

Loose 8 pounds a month

Loose 26 pounds by August.

~Pass the personal trainer exam on April 1.
***I DID IT!***

Finish my Associates Degree in Science by the end of July. ***I DID IT!***

Perfect the Salsa and Rhomba! ***I DID IT***

Find a hairdo that works for me and is low maintance! ***I DID IT***

Find a job with benefits that will allow be to afford to return to school. ***I DID IT***

Transfer to a 4 year school for nutrition by August. ***I DID IT** Well, I got accepted but I don't start until next year.

Increase flexability through yoga.

My Program:
I'm a calorie counter! My plan is:

Consume no more than 1200 calories a day.

Burn at least 500 calories a day through exercise that elevates the heart rate above 130 and no more than 160.

Use a variety of exercise.

Drink 8 glasses of Water.

Eat more veggies and fruit.

Don't give up!

Personal Information:
I am usually very optimistic but have had bouts of doubt. I love to encourage others and need some myself from time to time.

Other Information:
I love to cook and I am learning more creative vegetarian cooking right now. I am a pesca-vegetarian, which means I eat seafood and vegetarian meals.

    Thanks for adding the positive comment to my blog. You and I have around the same starting point and weight goals so I'm going to be keeping my eye on your progress. You do the same for me, okay. emoticon
    We can do this!!! Those last 20 + pounds are the hardest, but with determination and consistency - no problem!
