I am an avid road cyclist looking to get back to my cycling weight, so I can fly up the hills again! I am a nationally certified Massage Therapist, and I would like to be a role model for my clients.

In February 2004, I weighed 300 lbs. I went on 'Atkins' and took up cycling and dropped to 185 by December. At my peak in 2006 I was riding 200-300 miles per week and actually hit 179 lbs for 1 day. I kept most of the weight off, but in late 2006, I went back to school to become a massage therapist and slowly added on 40 pounds over a year and a half.

On January 2 (like everyone else) I began my quest to get back into shape. I started a sensible (non-atkins) diet to get back to a competitive cycling weight. I am hoping to be back in the 180s by June 2008 and do the 100 mile Elephant Rock Ride in Colorado in under 5.5 hours.

I plan to some other non-competitive rides in 2008 and maybe get back into racing later in the season.

I have been married for 19 years and have a wonderful 9 year old daughter. I have my own massage therapy business (www.sullivan.massagetherapy.com) and work at Elements Therapeutic Massage as a Therapist and Coordinator of Therapist Development. I also work at a Day Spa in Parker Colorado.

We live in Centennial Colorado
