I have been an SP member since 2006, however, I have not made any progress on my weight loss journey. I have taken a long look at myself in an effort to figure out 'why'. Why haven't I made progress when I have the tools necessary, the time to commit and multiple reasons to take action?

I have determined that it is because: 1. I did not think I could really do it; 2. I have believed the voice in my head whispering that I'm not really worth it; 3. I have not made a quality decision to go after the goal regardless of 1 & 2.

So now I am at a crossroads. I am 35 years old, married with 2 children. Will I resign myself to being 100lbs overweight and just live out the rest of my life facing any consequences that brings? Or will I make a change - a real change in my life and become the woman that I know I am meant to be?

This is a bigger issue than weight. This is critical moment that will determine mediocrity or greatness.

I choose greatness today, and this is my journey.

My Goals:
My weight-loss goal is to lose 100 pounds within the next 12 months.


My Program:
I will be using the Power 90 program for at least 3 rounds in addition to the TotalGym and elliptical machine.



Personal Information:
I am married to the most wonderful man in the world and I have two amazing children. I am in an online MBA program and am a SAHM. Life is GREAT!


Other Information:
I am so glad that tomorrow is another day & we always have the opportunity to start over again. Thank you JESUS!!

    Thank you for your kind words! I too have battled obesity all my life, and I feel like I've finally found my way out of the fog! If I had just one tip to give people, besides eating the right food, it would be to walk. Walkint is something that everyone can do and it's something you can do anywhere, doesn't cost anything, and you could do it for the rest of your life. Start slow and short distance, and gradually challenge yourself and build it up. If you need specific help with anything feel free to contact me. I wish you the best of success(would say luck, but it's really not luck)with your journey. Remember it's not a diet, but a lifestyle change.

    hello everyone! it was so great to come to the page and see the warm welcome i've received. it is great to have support and others working toward the same goals. i've had an ok day today. i will complete all of my fast breaks today and plan to workout in a few minutes. keep in touch everyone and you'll be seeing my progress soon!!! thanks again!!!
