Hi! I'm Lex. I'm an 18 year-old college student in Montana studying biology, chemistry, and a bit of psychology too.

I'm short- about 162 cm or 5'3.8". My highest weight was in 2009 when I peaked at 155 lbs after losing a lot of weight in 2008- and then falling to depression and gaining it all back. I'm good now though, and since then (when I joined SparkTeens), I've been living a pretty healthy- and happy- lifestyle. I hover around 125-130 lbs, with a goal of getting that down to 115-120 lbs (aiming for 117) and then just maintaining a healthy lifestyle and getting fit and gaining some muscle mass.

I have a great little sister (Liv), three other older siblings, wonderful parents, and the world's most amazing boyfriend, Rob, who someday I hope to/will spend my forever with.

I don't believe I need to be thin to be happy, confident, or amazing. Neither should you. I'm doing this just because I like treating my body well.

I post a TON of stuff on my fitblr (it's a blog about fitness and health and stuff) which is here (I think you need to copy/paste?):
http://spinning-my-spokes.tumblr.com
On there will be more of my updates and you can search for stuff and look at recipes and find workout ideas if you're ever wanting something new.

I'm religious and proud to be LDS. This isn't going to change. Neither will my political convictions (libertarian). Let's just not talk about them, okay?

Fellow scientist and one who was teased too? That will get you added as a Sparky friend here...

Now Ms. Big Sky State, you have a problem. And a decision to make. A metaphorical fork in your Sparky road has arisen because I have added you as a Spark friend. Your choices are:

Wisdom - Delete this comment. Delete all my comments. Delete your comments on my blog. You will be safer, happier and altogether saner for the effort. Never look back, for you will have done the right thing.

Recklessness - Add me back. NEVER say you were not duly warned?

I would think the choice is obvious. But just in case you still cannot decide, check in with my wife - Susan818127 - also here on Spark. Doubtlessly she will tell you just what a complete nut I am.

    So?...

Welcome to SP and thanks for the comment! I had to laugh, as I drove to the "big" grocery store last night to get some real bread, I was thinking that I was sure I double checked my goal and made sure it was SMART, but I couldn't at all think what the 'T' was, and I knew that the 'R' meant 'something that could actually happen', but I couldn't think of the word Realistic!
Thanks for the reminder of what the acronym actually means, and yeah, definitely this is a better goal for July, although I think I'll just try and stay aware of my big store shopping habits and make small changes when possible and skip the whole "for a month" part.
