Hello - My name is Karen. I have been struggling with my weight all my life. I loved fast food, watching television & movies and sleeping - and this is how I ended up weighing 336 pounds.

In November of 2005 I joined Weight Watchers and in the spring of 2008 I was down to 180 pounds. A loss of 150 pounds !!!!

Then in October of 2008 I moved cities and starting living with my boyfriend. My new job had different hours - and I was no longer at the gym every morning. I stopped attending WW meetings, and just ate whatever I wanted. Slowly - I managed to gain back almost all of the weight. I weighed 323 pounds at my highest, only 13 pounds less than my original weight.

I got engaged, then married, and then in the summer of 2012 everything in my relationship started to fall apart.

In November 2012 I started back with WW, for good this time. I weighed in at 314 pounds.

I separated from my husband, moved back to Edmonton, and am on my way to being a better me - including losing weight and getting healthy.

Determination and perseverance will result in my reaching my goals !!

My Goals:
I rejoined WW in November of 2012. I have obtained my 5% and 10% goals as well as a total of 50 pounds lost! My next goal is to weigh under 250 pounds.

My Program:
I am following the WW program. I rejoined in November 2012 and have lost 52 pounds.

I live in Edmonton, AB.

I separated from my ex-husband in January 2013 and I am working on getting our divorce.
