I started this amazing journey with SparkPeople in April 2009. My eldest was almost 6 months old and I had decided enough was enough. 223 pounds was going to be my max...and I was done with it. I needed more energy and it was time that I felt better about myself. My husband and I cleaned out the junk food from the kitchen and I started moving. Even though I stay at home with my kiddos finding the time AND the energy to work out and cook healthy meals wasn't easy. BUT...I did it.

By December of 2009, I had lost 50 pounds and very shortly after reaching that awesome milestone I discovered I was pregnant with another little munchkin.

I strayed from SparkPeople during my 2nd pregnancy. Walked when I could, ate okay, but generally took it easy. Or as easy as my eldest would let me.

By January 2011 I was back up to 200 and ready to start SparkPeople back up again. I started C25K and found that I really loved running. By December 2011 I was down to 148, making my total pounds lost 75 pounds!!

We had moved in December 2011 and for some reason, it took me longer to get into the swing of things that I would have liked. On March 21st I weighed in at 143. 80 pounds under my original starting weight. I was insanely happy. Really just 10 short pounds from my ultimate goal.

In 2014 I had my third sweet boy. The pregnancy was a healthy one, but it was rough on my body. I gained all the weight I had lost back and then some. My hips and feet made it hard to move like I wanted to. I finally was able to drive myself to be stronger and better in July 2017 and I am back on my journey along the track to a healthier, stronger and happier me. I did it once, I can absolutely do it again.

My Goals:
1. Hit 1st Target of 204 by 12.31.2017 (CRUSHED it on 10.6.2017)

2. Track food every day

3. Drink more water

4. Hit 2nd Target of 180 by my next birthday/3.8.2018

5. Hit lowest weight of 143 (no Target date at the moment and I'm sure I'll have Targets between 180 and 143)

5. Hit Goal Weight of 135.

My Program:
At LEAST 90 minutes of Fitness a week
Track Food
Track Fitness
Track Water
Home cooked HEALTHY meals.
Lots of fresh fruit and veggies.
Use the motivation of my friends and family to move me onward and upward.

Personal Information:
I am a SAHM of three crazy, beautiful, smart, sweet boys.

I love to do lots of crafty things. Sewing, photography, crochet, scrapping. LOVE it.

I love running but haven't been able to successfully start up again since having my third. I'm hoping after a little more weight loss my hips and feet will be able to handle it again.

I live for our family vacations at the beach and Summers spent at our town pool. Being by the water calms my soul and fills me with joy.
