I am ready to get this weight off and this time KEEP it off. In the past I allowed myself to grow... and grow.. and grow until I was over 100 lbs overweight. One day I had enough and dieted my way down to 104 lb loss. I started off with Slim Fast which worked but you can only drink so many of those shakes.. Then my work introduced the Weight Watchers Work program to my fellow coworkers and I. I joined and was much happier with that program verses Slim Fast. I felt so much better about myself and was proud of my accomplishment. But lately the weight has slowly but surely been climbing back on. With each 10 lbs, I promised myself that I would tackle it and get the weight back off.. Now 30 lbs later and I wondering what happened. I am determined to not resort back to my old self. I will never wear a size 22 again. I am glad I was introduced to this site. I hope to lose the 30 lbs slowly but surely and in a healthy way. I am finding what they say is true though.. losing weight once you hit your 30's is that much harder! But I will do it :)

Fitness Minutes: 322

My Goals:
I would like to lose 30 lbs so I can feel better about myself and be healthier. I would like to be able to fit back into my old clothes (and to do it while those clothes are still considered cute and in style haha).

My plan is:
- to chart everything I eat. Even if I am ashamed that I went over in calorie intake.
- to exercise 3 times a week. Oh what a joy this will be
- to drink 8 glasses a water a day. I use to be religious about this and feel it was helpful
- to eat more fruits and veggies
- to keep a positive attitude
- to remember that yes, that sweet suuuure does taste good but is that 2 minutes of enjoying the taste worth the long struggle to get that back off my hips?


My Program:
I basically will be following the Weight Watchers diet. I am going to eat more vegs and fruits instead of prepackaged 100 calorie snacks. Also need to get my lazy butt into exercise mode.. don't know why I fight it so much as when I'm actually exercising, I don't mind

I was born in Ohio, grew up in Ohio, and now am old in Ohio. Wow. I am so great at change, aren't I?
