Hi ! I'm 29, married and living in Japan. I've been here for 8 years now. I like it but living in a foreign country brings its own challenges and stress.

I'm doing the 10min a day streak. Trying of course to have a few good 20-60min w/o's a week in there too.
Trying to be a faithful tracker.
I WILL be positive and patient (99% of the time...)

    Hi! I've visited Kobe several times when I was in Japan for school. Once during the summer of 2005 with a May Term college trip, and then several times when I was studying for a semester there in the spring of 2007. Yes I completely agree about the port being sooo lovely. The mountains! Chinatown there is AWESOME! And up the mountains a bit there are a lot more pseudo-ethnic places...things like a German Haus restaurant, a French restaurant with a French guy going "irasyaimaseee" and stuff in French! It's just a great place to explore...plus they have great shopping! I really enjoy spending time on the pier too...there are often performers or just teenagers doing that "Chinese juggling" and doing biking tricks and stuff. Plus! It's a great place to get some yakiniku!! My favorite place is near a mall just off of the pier. I've been there at least 3 times....but I have no clue what it is called. If I ever get back there I could find it in a heartbeat though! :)

    Haha, clearly I could talk about it for days! Oh, and you can ride the ferris wheel, always fun! Especially on the water there!

    Okay I'm done now! :D What do you do there? emoticon
