Hi-I will be 40 this year, and I am tired of being overweight! A little over a year ago, I was happy with my weight-which I had lost after an incredibly stressful time in my life. Well we are still going through stressful times with my husband battling cancer and all, but I am no longer in love with my weight situation, and am ready to do something about it. I got to this site by researching the skinny switch diet-and not wanting to or being able to pay the 150+ dollars for the program, have decided to go it on my own-with the help and support of my two lovely girls and beyond wonderful husband and of course any number of you all. Happy to meet you :)

My Goals:
I am hoping to get in better shape, and feel better in my clothes. I want to be healthier, feel better, and look better. I enjoyed the feeling and how I looked when I was thinner just over a year ago.

My Program:
I am trying to eat less junk food. I am eating every three hours, and trying to stay under 2000 calories per day. I am trying to eat more healthy foods, and the hardest for me, I am trying to exercise more.

Personal Information:
My name is Correena. I live in California with my husband and two beautiful and very active girls. They keep me very busy, and at times very frustrated, but I do love them so. My husband is the love of my life, and my soul-mate. He has a daughter-15 who a year ago decided to go live in Mesico with his family. This is the second marriage for both of us as we both lost our first spouse.

Other Information:
As far as the stressful times I mentioned, in November of 2007, my husband was diagnosed with rectal colon cancer, and has since undergon radiation, surgery-which left him with a permanent colostomy, and then more chemo. In November of 2008, he finished his chemo, and was supposed to be done and getting back to normal-stared working again in December after a year off, but in February of this year-during a proceedure to evaluate a hernia, more tumors were found, and he is back to chemo again, and facing another surgery to get rid of these tumors, and hopefully all of the cancer. He's a trouper though and is fighting hard-I don't want to lose another husband!

How is your husband doing? My Nathan has had good tests since he finished his Chemo for his Testicular Cancer. He is on the WAIT LIST for Medical School at the U. of Florida for the Fall, so we hope he will get in there.
