I'm not obese, but I'm not happy with my weight. I've been gradually adding padding and not getting motivated or serious about taking it off. I'm tired of watching my body become someone I don't recognize because of stress, loneliness, boredom, bad habits or the lack of discipline.
Well, I made my goal weight! But I've been attending a lot of workshops, conferences and seminars lately -- 17 of the last 25 days have been sitting on my backside and a few pounds have slipped back on. Grrr. Inattention and mindless eating. Forgetting what works for me.
Greed...ooh, look at those lovely pastries, I want to get my share.
Well, some weight has crept back on :(. About 7 of the 14 pounds I lost. I started misbehaving (foodwise) when I was traveling a lot in the spring. Time to rein myself back in. Sigh. I know what I should do. I know what works. Now, just get back on track to do it.

My Goals:
I want to have a healthy relationship with food and with my body.

I want healthy lifestyle habits -- eat breakfast, sit down and actually eat lunch at work, avoid mindless grazing.

I want to forget about my body because I feel great, my clothes fit, and I feel in control of my food intake.

My Program:
I will record and be aware of what I eat and stop mindless grazing and binging.

I will actually take a full half hour lunch break at work. I will spend some of that time in prayer and meditation.

I will be a regular walker.

I will forgive myself for flub-ups and move on.

Personal Information:
I am a Parish Administrator in WA state, in the Seattle area. It's lovely here, but it really is gray and unpleasant outside A LOT. I live by a lovely river walk/park however, so even that shouldn't be an excuse not to get outside and be active. I also have a shih tzu puppy, and his main job in life is to keep me walking (and keep me company at the office).
